Live Trax Vol. 6, unofficially known as Live at Fenway Park, is the sixth installment in the Dave Matthews Band
Live Trax series. It features a four disc set of the band's two night performance at Fenway Park
in Boston
from July 7 and 8, 2006. This marks the first ever release of the band's songs "Can't Stop," "Break Free," and "The Idea of You," as well of the release of their first ever performance of Neil Diamond
's "Sweet Caroline
," performed as a Fenway Park tradition.
Due to an initial high demand for the album, Live Trax Vol. 6 is first volume in the series to be sold in stores in addition to the band's online store. The band's management expected demand for the album to be high in the Boston area, which prompted them to distribute the album to retailers. The release was extended nationwide in the USA and internationally, but in limited amounts where most retailers only kept a single copy stocked per store.
