. Line 1 will then run as a straight north-south line from Maigaoqiao Station to CPU Station (China Pharmaceutical University). Currently, an extension that will extend Line 1 further west is under construction. This extension starts from Olympic Stadium Station and will tentatively be 14.4 km in length with 8 stations. It is expected to enter operation in 2015.
North:
There are plans for Line 1 to extend northwards to Yanziji Station. The first phase of the extension line will cover a length of 5 km with 4 elevated stations.
