Limone Piemonte is a comune

, on the border with France. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,572 and an area of 71.3 km².
The train reached Limone in 1891 and made it to be a "ski-station", after in 1897 the skis arrived in Italy. In 1907 a competition began the official history of ski in Limone. And in 2007 the village celebrated the "Century of skiing".
