She has also worked as a therapist for disturbed children, served as the national president of Citizens Against Crime and has written two books, The Secret to Getting Through Life’s Difficult Changes and The Change Cycle: How People Can Survive and Thrive in Organizational Change. With the National Association of People with AIDS she co-authored the award-winning Caring, Commitment and Choices.

She formerly served as Pastor of National (Internet) Ministry and Congregational Life in the Cathedral of Hope
