Lef Nosi was one of the scholars of those difficult times for Albania who demonstrated love and devotion te the country during and after the Independence of the Albania. He was one of the people that co-operated with the Englishh aristocrat Aubrey Herbert to solve Albanian's Independence. Also he was the one of pepole that offered the post of becoming the king of Albania to Aubrey Herbert.
The huge contribution that Lef Nosi gave to the Elbasan city which is his home town was he founded the Elbasan Librari where he donated all his books. His books today are a treasure to the city. It is worthy to mention that the books he donated, date back to 15 and 16 century.
