Leelai is an upcoming Indian Tamil romance film
directed by Andrew Vasanth Louis and produced by Aascar Films' V. Ravichandran
. It stars newcomers Shiv Pandit and Manasi Parekh in lead roles along with Santhanam and Suhasini Raju in pivotal roles. The film which began in 2008, has been ready for release since 2009 but is still yet to be released.

The director selected North Indian actor Shiv Pandit in the lead role after seeing him an advert for mobile phone company, Airtel. After Pandit was signed on, he practised his Tamil dialogues by reading them repeatedly and understanding the emotions and punches. He also watched a lot of Tamil films and other serials in the language to get attuned to the culture. The entire movie was shot in popular software company HCL. The employees of the company were prevented from carrying cameras and mobile phones to their company to co-operate with the film's shoot, with filming held for over 100 days inside the company.
The film ran into a legal battle over the title with Ravichandran
, the producer of the film, eventually winning the case and forcing another film to change its title from Leelai to Naan Aval Adhu. The film has been stuck at the editing phase, with Shiv Pandit claiming that the film will be released in late 2011.

Soundtrack
The music is composed by debutant Sathish Chakravarthy, a classmate of the director, Andrew Vasanth Louis. Satish also wrote the lyrics for two of the songs.
