. Harte has been fronting her own band since she was in her mid-teens and first rose to prominence after an appearance on RTÉ at the age of sixteen. She was nominated as Hope for 2008 at the 2008 Meteor Music Awards.

On weekend of August 19th - 22nd, 2011, Leanne Harte flew over to Germany for her first time. She was invited by friend and mentor Eamonn McCormack to play a well received gig (trio with Marc-Inti Männel-Saavedra, bass & Tobi Baum, drums) at Offenbach and visited Toolhouse-Studios, Rotenburg/Fulda.
