Industry

Lawrenceburg is home to the Tanners Creek Power Station, now AEP. Lawrenceburg Distillers Indiana, formerly Seagram's operates within Lawrenceburg, and produces various alcoholic beverages. Because of Seagram's Distillery along with the now closed Schenley Distillery, Lawrenceburg has often been coined "Whiskey City, USA." Another industry located within Lawrenceburg is Anchor Glass (formerly Thatcher Glass).
