Dress and deportment

Students at the school are required to wear uniforms, which should conform to school-defined guidelines, including style and colour. Infractions result in disciplinary action. Lakeshore has been known to have a stricter uniform policy in comparison to other schools. For example, Lakeshore All dress shirts and cardigans are emblazoned with the "LCHS" logo. The uniform options consist of a short sleeved or long sleeved Oxford shirt, a sweater, sweatshirt or vest (to be worn from Thanksgiving to Easter), and grey dress pants or kilt. In recent years, Grade 12 students have had the option of wearing the "Grad Hoodie" instead of the sweater.
The school also holds Alternate Dress Days, typically the last Wednesday of each month. Though in recent years this policy has become relaxed with the introduction of Rugby style shirts that are not required to be tucked in and therefore eliminating the number of Uniform Infractions. During alternate dress days students are permitted to wear acceptable clothing, though this dress must be of a respectable nature for a school community. These guidelines are set forth by school administrators.
