Lady Eveningstar along with Lady Xok was a wife of Shield Jaguar, a Mayan king of Yaxchilan
. She bore Shield Jaguar his son and successor, Bird Jaguar. She was from Calakmul
and is mentioned on Lintel 23 which explains Shield Jaguar and Lady Xok's ancestry. Bird Jaguar had Temple 21 constructed which honored his mother in a carving on stela 35 in which she participated in a bloodletting ritual. It is believed that this temple was created by Bird Jaguar to prove that his mother was just as important as Lady Xok.
