Lac du Bois is a protected area in North Kamloops. It overlooks The North Thompson River and South Thompson River. It is mainly made up of grassland but does have small groves of Ponderosa Pine

 and Douglas Fir. It also has a few small lakes. The park is a common area for hiking and mountain biking. Near the park boundaries people enjoy dirt biking.
