 based band Telefunken, with Daniel Evans, Christoper Perkins, Paul Peters and Wayne Gough. Due to possible trademark infringement Telefunken changed into Joe Lazarus in 1998, but continued with the same band members. They signed a deal with Badge in mid 1998 and recorded and released their only EP

In mid 1999, Hudson-Lee worked with Anston based musician Mel Lampro, and ex-Joe Lazarus guitarist Paul Peters, on a project entitled I am me, however this did not last beyond July that year.

In August 1999, Hudson-Lee auditioned for, and got a position with Promise, which in turn evolved into Deadline, and finally into Crimes of Passion. In February 2008, he announced via his blog that he was quitting Crimes of Passion in June 2008. He announced later on his blog that he had joined Guy Manning
