The Venugopalaswamy temple, located in the village, is famous for Lord Venu Gopala Swamy. The Swamy kalyanam is conducted every year on a large scale in Kokkiligadda Kothapalem. Yanadi Rao Mathi is the chairman of this temple, and has contributed to its development over many years.
