  • Brigid (yellow): Named for Brigid, a fifth century Irish saint, renowned for her hospitality and compassion whose first monastery was established at Kildare.

Uniform

Kildare has two uniform sets - summer and winter. The summer uniform consists of a checkered dress, green jumper, brown footwear, and fawn colored socks. The winter uniform consists of a Kildare kilt, green jumper, beige blouse, green tie, blazer (compulsory), fawn tights or socks, and brown footwear. PE uniforms are similar, but consist of a shirt and pants or shorts instead. Students wear house-coded dressup clothes on sports days, the Spirit Cup and the Swimming Carnival.
