. At approximately a distance of 4 kilometres from Khuiratta is a famous shrine of "Mai Totti Sahiba" also known as Darbar Mai Toti. Another known shrine of "Hazrat Baba Ali Lashkar" is located at Dheri Sahibzadian. Both the locations are visited by hundreds of people daily. Late Sardar Aziz Ahmed started the construction of one of the biggest hospitals of Azad Kashmir in Khuiratta. After the completion, it would serve world class facilities for patients.
Khuiratta is also famous for its besakhi mela
. For many years this mela was being held in Diyari Na Bagh. Lately it has been moved to Sihoor Beelaa as it caused much disturbance to the local residents. Thousands of people gather from all over the country to view the attractions offered by the mela. It should be noted here that Khui Ratta is the only place in Azad Kashmir where this mela is organised. This mela lasts for three days; activities include bull racing, wrestling, football and other form of traditional entertainment.

On economic backgrounds,it's also well known.on this contest,the name ABDUL AZIZ CHOUDHRY is very famous in whole area.first person of this name was choudhry Abdul Aziz of dehri sahbzadian,who gave taught people how to do business in own country.He started business in Rawalpindi and convinced overseas people to invest their money in their own country.second person was Abdul Aziz chaudry kallus of kattasary.He was very well known not only in gujjars but also in jatts Rajputs and many others.He took his people abroad to earn something home but kept his own son at home to tell people their real place to live is in Kashmir.He was the one who helped Sardar Abdul Aziz Cheer in difficult time when he was to be deported from uk due to illegal stay.Because both had same names,Abdul Aziz of katassery gave his documents to sardar Aziz cheer,so that he can get stay.Later on,sardar Aziz did his business and made a tramendous development in azad Kashmir through his Aziz Welfare Trust.ther are large number of other people who also worked hard for benefits of area like Haji Ali Muhammad,haji Muhammad ali,raja Iqbal sakander,raja farman,matloob inqlabi,mushtaq gorsi,Riaz naveed but and chaudry Zaman.

Villages and Community
Smaller villages located in Khuiratta have some very beautifully constructed mosques. It is also home to shrines of famous religious scholars of their times like Hazrat Mian Imam Baksh of Hozra near Tokahn. There is also a shrine of Pir Haider Shah of Dehari Bagh. These great scholars helped all those in need of help and preached to create a better society, which led to many people following in their examples to form a better community and also spread the word of Islam in the best way possible. The great work accomplished by these saints and sufis of Islam is portrayed by their followers who tried to follow their footsteps to help the community. Some notable elders from the area such as Ch.
