Transportation

The Jinghe-Yining-Horgos Railway was completed in late 2009 now provides train service from Ürümqi and Ghulja (Yining) to Khorgos. Passenger service from Ürümqi (started on July 1, 2010), however, only operates to Ghulja, and not all the way to Khorgos.
