Khatauli is a town in Muzaffarnagar district
in the India
n state of Uttar Pradesh
. It is located on NH 58 between Muzaffarnagar
(22 dikm)and Meerut (32 km).It is a part of National Capital Region,24 km north of Meerut.
which is an important route for trade and commerce and also a main route for the many holy places like Haridwar and Rishikesh, many Hill station like Dehradun, Masuri in western Uttar Pradesh.
Khatauli City has its own history. This city is very old city since British ruled on the India. It is far from New Delhi(The Capital of India) is about 100KM only.

Now Khatauli is a big rural town, there are many tourist attractions. Since it is located on the banks of the upper Ganges canal, this is the main attraction here.
There are two beautiful motels located on the Gange Canal, which are more famous than Khatauli, first is "Cheetal", with Deer Park adjacent to Ganga Canal run by the UP Forest Department . The second motel is bit away from the canal is "Cheetal Grand", touch with the village Bhainsi owned by local and private owner Rana brothers, established in 1992. In February 2011, Rocky Singh & Mayur Sharma, of the show Highway on My Plate (NDTV Good Times
) named Cheetal Grand as one of the top 7 Restaurents, roadside joints in India. These two parks attract lot of travelers from NH 58. There are only 2 hotel facilities to stay in Khatauli itself.
On the occasion of Holi,a rath yatra is organised every year in memory of Krishna devotee Pandit Jayanti Prasad Sharma,founder of Sri Krishna Samkirtana Bhawan (Geeta Bhawan). Holi Chowk is the most happening place of the Khatauli.
Every year there is a famous carnival in Khatauli popularly called 'Mela Chhadiyan' or 'Chhadiyon ka Mela' also known as Mela Shravni in the month of august last, held near the temple of Goga Jaharvir(Near picket inter college).
According to folk lore Goga Jaharvir is conisdered the king of snakes and is also known as Jahar Diwan.This carnival starts at Raksha Bandhan (a Hindu
festival) and runs for a month.
One of the famous things to eat in this Mela is 'RAMA HALWAI KI JALEBI AND SAINI KI KULFI,Pehlwan ka Halwa Parantha, & Naveen Kumar Ansul Jain ki Jalebi & Puri ' - This town also contains a gud area of farming where many tourist can go and watch the farming style of the India .This place is a very attractive place and the river GANGA put the four moon on the head of this town.
Near khatauli there are many villages. All village are very old and consist of many old things. This villages also very attractive and beautiful. Here u can take the enjoy of original Indian style. Jasoula is one of the best village in khatauli. it is 8 km away from khatauli. The people of different religion live here. Most of them are spiritual. there are many temple and masjid in Jasoula. main occupation is agriculture.
