The Kenmore Bypass is currently being proposed to alleviate congestion along Moggil Road during peak commuting hours.
This bypass has divided local residents and is the subject of extensive community planning to ensure the needs and opinions all residents are considered. The planning process is now looking at a range of options based on community feedback and more in-depth technical investigations with the full range of options to be presented late in 2008.
The Proposed Bypass will be 3.3 km in length. Since the 1960s a corridor of land has been set aside for a bypass. This is where the Kenmore bypass will be located if the plans go ahead.
