Goff’s political leanings have been a subject of speculation and debate in the blogosphere, with her initial skepticism of universal healthcare and criticism of teachers unions’ seemingly at odds with her previous work as a Democratic political operative. On an October 18, 2010 episode of “The Dylan Ratigan Show” Goff revealed herself to be a registered Independent. She also expressed hope that one day a credible third party option would emerge in American politics.
