Keiichiro Toyama
Encyclopedia
is a video game designer, best known as the creator of the hit survival horror video game Silent Hill
(1999). He directed the game, as well as worked in the animation department as background designer.
The game was successful and produced various sequels, but Toyama left Team Silent
afterwards to work on the Siren
series, another survival horror video game. He directed the video games Siren
(2003) and its sequel Forbidden Siren 2 (2006). Toyama worked along fellow Team Silent members Naoko Sato (monster designer for Silent Hill) and Isao Takahashi. In 2008, Toyama released Siren: Blood Curse
, a reimagining of the original Siren game.
