Keep Australia Beautiful is a not-for-profit Australia

Keep Australia Beautiful is best known for its “Do the Right Thing” campaign against littering as well as its national awards programs, including Australian Tidy Town Awards

The organisation releases an annual report called the National Litter Index. This is Australia's only national measure of the amount of litter. Surveys for the report began in 2005, with cigarette butts and plastics topping the list of discarded rubbish. 983 sites, one hectare wide are examined across the country. Funding is sourced from state and territory governments.
