Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower is located on an area of 46,000m2 and the total floor area is 579,000m2, ranking 5th for the floor area of a single building in the world. According to the master plan, the complex features a 5-star hotel, offices, entertainment areas, retail spaces, clinics and convention centers. It is scheduled to be completed by 2011. Upon full completion, Hanoi Landmark Tower will be the world’s 26th highest building and the highest in Vietnam. On June 11, 2008, an agreement was signed between the tower's management and the InterContinental Hotels Group

to operate the 383-room hotel in the tower as InterContinental Hanoi Landmark. The residences will also be serviced by the hotel and will have access to its facilities.

As of November 2010, the tower has reached approximately 300 meters, becoming the tallest structure in Vietnam. On January 24, 2011, the main tower topped out, reached the height of 336 meters, it became the tallest building in Vietnam while the other two towers had topped out months ago with the height of 212 meters.
