. He also states that he was inspired mostly by Mamoru Oshii
's direction of the anime film Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer.
In addition to video game character designs, Kurashima made the artwork for the Moon companion book Tsukiyo No Aho Tori: Moon Side Story and designed the cover artwork for the album Half Asleep by Japanese electro outfit Swimmingpoo1. He also provided the voice of the main character, Tingle
, in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. Kurashima is credited as "Pantomimist" on Pipe No Machi 2, an animated short by former skip Ltd.
