. By signing the artist's name on the pictures, he sold them as original, genuine pieces of art. He was arrested in the 1980s and fined $1000. Afterward he legally changed his name to Carl Feoder Goldie, so he can sign pictures as CF Goldie. But he now sells them as forgeries, instead of originals. He was made the 8th greatest art forger in the world in November 2007. He wrote a book in 2003, called Good As Goldie.
