Acting career

Kapil has so far only been in two TV serials. They are Shakira in which he portrayed a police officer called Inspector Singh on the bindas channel. This show did not go down well with the Indian audience due to the fact the lead actress played such a macho police officer image. The show was taken off air a few months after starting. Soon after Shakira came off air Kapil received a phonecall from the writers of Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat
