    . In October 1914, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the African Native Medical Corps. In 1915 he was promoted to Lieutenant. He served in the First World War from 1915 until 1919. In October 1888, the Muslim faction was dominant in Buganda. All Christian missionaries were expelled, and Kabaka Kiweewa Mutebi Nnyonyintono
