Etymology

After introduction of Islam, it was captured by Kambho, Lodhi Afghan, Khemat, Gahroo, so on and so forth. Alexander the Great, captured this area .

The naming clearly is of Turkic and Persian origin, Kala Bagh simple means as "Garden Village" in local language. Kala is tropical Pashtu word meaning village or Dhok.

Transliterature of words cannot obliterate footprints of ancient tribes, (whether it is Turkic or Persian) and historicity and reality cannot be suppressed by any means. Kalabagh will remain conspicuous among all chapters of history, and the temple is homologous to grandeur of human heritage. This legendary temple belongs to Hindus, it is an admitted fact, but irrespective of prejudices and contra religiousity it is included in human civilization. before partition a lot of Hindos were living at Kalabagh and Makhad being business village situated on eastren and westren bank of Indus so existance of Temple is not strange. Makhad do have a temple

The Greeks erected a colossus of Rhodes, was one of the eldest Oceanids, a daughter of Tethys and Oceanus. She was remembered by four names: Halia, Aphrodite, Amphitrite, and Kapheira. She is the goddess of salt water.

The Statue on podium was placed where nowadays Kalabagh city is situated. It was destroyed by invaders, Saka Tribes, Aver Huns (real fathers of A'oona) and Parthians. Kapheira, was thought to be daughter of Poseidon, whose worshipers usually paint their body with colours and Mehandi, and danced before the goddess and exposed their painted parts of bodies for receiving blessing from Sacredos (Chief Priest). Furthermore, the groin of the goddess was glabrous, and wore a white silk gown. Her statue was almost nude. It would be more proper to quote the proper references where you have find these stories
She was selected by the Sacredos and tattooed in three spots in triangular shape: The Earth, The Sun and The Paluto. And her first child was nominated as poluticus. From that time we are still calling our first child "Plothee ka Bachha." incorrect to make this connection the proper sentence is "Pehloti ka bachha". Pehl, pehla mean first and sinilarly pehlay mean past. this sentence have no connection with PalutoThere is a famous incidence, record in Greek journals. There was a local nymph, Maera who lives in salt water near Kalabagh. The silvery cave was full of nymphs. She was denounced criminal because she had had sex with local uncouth people, therefore, she lost virginity. She was punished and locked up in a house situated in the east of Kalabagh. Leucothea was real Maera. It can be said that existing village Mari might be abode of Maera (Leucotha) who was cursed and killed thereafter.
Marri mean home in local language. like a famous song of the area "shehr lahore dian ochhyan marrian hate wichain di a bhang way khana" For God sake stop fake stories , we have a lot of people with habit of copy and paste and this page will later will cause the evidence for fake history. Salt rage is much far from Kala Bagh and it is near Banda Daud Shah west of river Indus or in the eastren side of indus river at Sargodha.
