Junior MasterChef was officially renewed on 15 November 2010 due to strong ratings, to return for a second season in 2011. Filming started on the 28th July 2011, with the season premiering in October, 2011. 11-year-old Greta Yexley from Western Australia overcame 12-year-old Jack to claim the Junior MsterChef title for 2011.
