He first took on the duty as the station's health and roving reporter. Barely six months after joining the network, Mr. Francisco won the DOH award for best health reporting on AIDS issues. He will later collect two more health awards. He was nominated for best reporter of the year during the 2005 KBP Golden Dove Awards. The Malacanang Press Corps also gave him a citation for being a blogger.

He presently covers the presidential beat (Malacanang) but before this assignment, he was also assigned in the two legislative beats (Senate and Congress). As the station's political correspondent, he covered political personalities like various legislative leaders (JDV

Jove is also a blogger and maintains his site BY JOVE! which was recently ranked among the top blogs in the Philippine blogging community aside from being nominated in the first ever Philippine Blog Awards.

Aside from this, he also dabbles in writing for the print media as a contributor.
