Childress would be making then in total, a salary in Olympiacos that was equal to about $15 million per season in the NBA. The contract also included opt-out options after each of the first two seasons. Childress also received a Greek Nike shoe contract after signing with Olympiacos Piraeus, a Nike sponsorship club.
