Jonathan Gruber is the executive producer of documentary film company Black Eye Productions. He has been producing and directing documentaries, films, videos and interactive media since 1995.

He began working in film, producing video news releases (VNR’s), commercials and satellite media tours and events.

Jon matriculated at Syracuse University where he worked on many student films. One of which, "Flash Lives" was awarded the 6th Lawrinson Palme d'Or. Also, he had been undergoing a race around the United States challenge for the past 21 years recently losing by 2 States to "The man from Georgia" when Alaska was visited on May 29, 2010. It was a 2008 visit to North Dakota that tipped the scales.
