In late February 2007 The Only Ones finally reformed, appearing at All Tomorrows Parties and a sold-out show at the Shepherds Bush Empire. Speculation that the band were briefly 'cashing in' seem refuted by the bands tour schedule throughout 2008-10 which took them to France, Spain, Holland, Norway, Sweden and Japan. Sources close to the band confirm that new songs have been recorded for an album, planned for release in 2011.
Perry joined The Lemonheads on stage during their set at the Ben & Jerry's Summer Sundae festival in Clapham Common, London on Sunday 27 July 2008.
