Career

After graduating from West Virginia, Trueschler was a licensed landscape architect. After law school, he was admitted to Maryland Bar in 1991. He is a founding member of the North Central Republican Club and served as vice-president from 1990 until 1991. He is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America
