, who preached to participants in the Peasants' Revolt on Blackheath. The school has approximately 450 pupils aged 3–11 on its roll. The main building was opened in 1953, and a purpose-built Early Years Unit was added in early 2001. The most recent Ofsted inspection, in June 2008, graded the school as outstanding (Grade 1) and described it as "an outstanding and happy school".
