Background
In a press release announcing the tour, both artists expressed excitement at the concept of touring with the other. “This is going to be a killer tour and who better to hit the road with than Jay Sean,” said Jonas, while Sean reiterated the sentiment, saying “I’m super excited to be on the road with Joe and I think it’s going to be a great experience for me.” The concert was originally slated to be 18+ show. In an e-mail to fans, however, Jonas explained that although the minimum age was originally “due to the late performance time and the service of alcohol at the venues,” by popular demand the stipulation had been lifted. After the U.S. tour wraps on Oct. 6, Jonas will head to Stockholm, Sweden to join Spears on her European tour on Oct. 16.
