Shortly after returning from SXSW 2010, Jingle Punks completed substantial equity financing and established its strategic advisory board. The funding was sponsored by Hammerline Capital out of New York and included industry veterans from the music and technology industries. On November 19, 2010, The New York Times noted that Jingle Punks was heavily involved in the launch of Top Gear USA. "The commercials use a song, “Hit & Roll,” sung by the rocker Bret Michaels and written by a company called Jingle Punks Music." This collaboration was the first project to be launched from the Jingle Punks internal creative services arm.
