Ji'an Township is a township near Hualien City, Taiwan

called “Cikasuan” (七腳川). In the period of Japanese Occupation of Taiwan, the Governor-General of Taiwan
encouraged Japanese to immigrate the regions of Hualien and Taitung and established a village here as “Yoshino”. In 1937, it was reformed and administrated by Hualien Prefecture. Until 1948, it was renamed as Ji An Township as now.
