Jay Rodan is a British
actor, writer and director.
Rodan was born in Durban
, South Africa
to a Scottish father and South African mother of Scots, Dutch and French descent. His childhood was spent moving between South Africa, India, Britain and Canada.
Following South Africa's historic election Rodan returned there, publishing poetry and working as a performance artist at the renowned Flat Gallery.
Returning to London, he initially busked in Covent Garden
and outside Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. He was signed by Aleen Keshishian at ICM in New York and in his first film he played the villain opposite Samuel L. Jackson
