Avery Cardoza is the world’s foremost authority on gambling and million-selling author of more than 21 books including Winning Casino Blackjack for the Non-Counter, Official World Series of Poker Strategy Guide: No-Limit Tournament Hold’em, Poker Talk, and the encyclopedic How to Win at Gambling...

and first published in December 2006. This book provides itineraries of varying lengths for travelers seeking specific types of vacation experiences, such as a couples' getaway, a family vacation or a vintage Vegas experience. The second edition (ISBN 1593601077) was released in June 2008.

Fenster is a pioneer of the targeted "Best Of" travel writing format that closely aligns travel recommendations with the amount of time that people have to spend in a destination, and the exact outcome they want from a trip. This approach is compared to the typical encyclopedic "lists of lists" format that includes tons of information but no real guidance.

Fenster is also the author of Walt Disney World Guide, Disney World and Orlando Theme Parks, and Disney World With Kids. He also maintained Open Road's now-defunct Best of Las Vegas Blog.
