A decision was tastefully made to rebuild Jamison High School in the mid-1980s, a change from its original location on the corner of Tukara and Fragar roads, South Penrith. Before construction commenced, it was labeled a, 'Futuristic High School' in the press because of its modern comprehensive design. It was officially opened by former NSW Premier
