Jacob Kielland was a Norwegian naval officer and politician.

In March 1849 Jacob Kielland married Thora Margrethe Bendz, daughter of Christian Ahle Bendz (1790–1867) and his wife Frederikke Magdalene (1799–1837) in Fredriksværn
. They had five sons and one daughter. Axel Christian Zetlitz Kielland
became a notable jurist, Jonas Schancke Kielland became a politician. One son named Christian Bendz Kielland only lived from 1851 to 1855; they later had another son of the same name
