Jacob Dungau Sagan (born 26 September 1946) is a Malaysian politician, the current Malaysian Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry. He is the Senior Vice President of the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party
(SPDP) since its formation 2001 and also the founder Member of SPDP. Jacob was elected as Members of the Dewan Rakyat, 12th Malaysian Parliament
in Baram for the fourth term in March 2008 with an increased majority of 4,044 votes.

Apart from that, he served in various posts in the Department of Agriculture Sarawak which included Youth Services, Agricultural Extension Services, Divisional Agriculture Officer, Farmers Training as well as staff training.
In recognition of his excellent service in my work in the Government, he was conferred the Pingat Perkhidmatan Bakti (PPB)
in 1986. As a recognition of my leadership qualities in youth development, he was awarded the State Model Youth of the Year in 1990 by the State Government as well as the Pertubuhan Belia Kebangsaan Bersatu Sarawak (SABERKAS). He was also given social and community service awards by Rotary International
and Toastmasters International for excellent services in the promotion of social and community services in the State.
Jacob was awarded with the Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN)
by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong
in June 1998 and the Johan Bintang Sarawak (JBS) in conjunction with the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak
Birthday Celebration in September 1998. He was also awarded the Pingat Setia Bintang Sarawak (PSBS)
award which carries the title Dato’
by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak in 2003 in conjunction with Sarawak National Day Celebrations.
