 is located just one hour South of Jaco. Jaco has a population of apx. 10,000 residents. Diseases such as malaria, yellow fever and dengue fever are nonexistent, or extremely rare and no shots or vaccinations are necessary when traveling to Costa Rica.

Climate

As Jacó lies on the seashore, climate is humid. Temperature is 85-90 degrees F during the day and 75-80 degrees at night. This temperature is virtually the same year round. The "rainy season" last the rest of the year.
