coach. He is currently the sporting director of the Dutch swimming team and the Nationaal Zweminstituut Eindhoven. He is best known for guiding Pieter van den Hoogenband
and Inge de Bruijn
to Olympic gold medals. Although there were several other countries interested in signing him, he decided to remain with the Dutch
team until 2013.
