 was split from Eidsivating in 1995, Stabel worked in Borgarting. Also, from 1994 to 1997 she was a judge in the Labour Court of Norway, later serving as a deputy until 2002. She was also a member of the Lund Commission from 1994 to 1996, chaired the committees that delivered the Norwegian Official Report
