. Since its opening in 1979, the college has grown from 63 students to over 870 students ranging from kindergarten to year 12, and hosts exchange students who are catered for by host families and the college.

Immanuel currently offer many scholarships ranging from Academic to Sport, catering for different student's excellences. The college offers scollarships in years 7,8 and 11
  • The Vic Walker Memorial Scholarships - For a Graduate of Immanuel Lutheran College who undertakes to complete their degree studied at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Covers first year HECS fees up to $5000.

Awards

Immanuel Lutheran College was one of only three Australian schools to be awarded with the Hewlett Packard Innovations in Education Technology Award 2009. The school is in partnership with ISTE and HP to develop teaching methodologies with tablet PCs for distribution on an international scale.

  • Damian Assallit (born August 1989) V8 Supercars Driver - Drove his first Go-Kart at 5 years of age and won his first state title at 11. Since then Damian has won countless titles and represented Australia at a number of Motor Sports events. In 2007 he made a career defining move to the Fijitsu V8 Supercar Championship Series, which is a single step below V8 Supercars.
  • Meredith McLean, a current student, has been recognised in many local newspaper articles, and is featured portraying her perspective on several issues, such as the invasive nature of technology into one’s collective intelligence.
