Admissions

Hungerhill School has a wide range of subjects in their curriculum, and is for ages 11–16.

Students can currently choose the following to study for GCSE:
French, Spanish, Music, Drama, Performing Arts, Geography, RE, DiDA, Products and Systems, Systems and Control, History, BTEC Science, Triple Science, AS Maths, BTEC PE, Dance, Media, Textiles, Food Technology, Catering, Art and design, Graphics, and Health and Social Care.

History

It opened in 1976 as a mixed comprehensive school with 800 pupils.

In September 2005, it gained specialist

 status in Science, Maths and Computing.

As of September 2008, there are over 1,200 attending pupils.
