The Humdinga transforms from land to water mode when the driver pushes a button. The wheels retract and the power train switches from driving the wheels to driving the jet propulsion system.

On land the Humdinga can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 9.2 seconds and on water can reach the 'plane

' in less than 10 seconds. It has a curb weight of 2000 kg (4,409 lb), has all wheel independent air suspension and runs on regular unleaded petrol. The vehicle is 5400 mm (212.6 in) in length, 1850 mm (72.8 in) in height and 2000 mm (78.7 in) in width.

This amphibious truck boat is constantly in four wheel drive, and can travel at 100 mi/h on land. Once on water the boats jet propulsion system kicks in allowing the vehicle to reach 40 mi/h. The vehicle can seat five occupants, along with supplies and baggage. The vehicle is run by a powerful 350 bhp engine. It took 8 years and over ten million man hours to develop the technology.
