's Carroll School of Management, giving it access to the college's facilities. The following year the Arthur D. Little School of Management became an independent non-profit entity, with Arthur D. Little Inc. as its only shareholder.
In 2002, after Arthur D. Little declared bankruptcy

initiated acquisition of the business school, renaming it the Concord School of Management and converting it to a for-profit school
. In November 2002, Kaplan abandoned its acquisition plans. At the time, the school was reported to have 26 students.
The school was renamed the Hult International Business School in 2003 when it was acquired by the EF Education First. That same year the school moved to its dedicated campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts

After the accreditation of Hult's one year MBA program by Association of MBAs (AMBA) in 2005, Hult started its expansion in order to become an international business school. Its Shanghai campus opened in 2007. The Dubai campus opened in the following year, when Hult became the first American educational institution officially approved in the United Arab Emirates
. Hult acquired the former facilities of Huron University USA in London
to open its new London campus in 2009. Hult's San Francisco campus opened in 2010.

For Hult's one year MBA program, Students are required to have a minimum of 3 years of full time work experience. The minimum age requirement is 24 years of age. Hult also evaluate the candidates GMAT, GPA, and language proficiency. The average GMAT score for an MBA candidate is 610. However Hult MBA is selective in their approach and evaluate candidates on their international experience, leadership capabilities, team working experience, and global mind-set.

At the event, student teams of five from business schools from around the world are invited to participate at one of five international locations where teams compete to develop the best solutions around the proposed challenge area. Cities of competition include Dubai, London, Boston, San Francisco and Shanghai.
In the 2010 event, the competition took on education in partnership with One Laptop per Child. The 2011 event has partnered with Matt Damon

to take on the clean water crisis. A $1 million prize will be awarded to implement the winning team's solution.
