Amenities available in Hukuntsi include guest houses, several take away restaurants, an independently owned supermarkets, two wholesalers, butcheries and variety shops.

Weather in Hukuntsi varies dramatically- very cold nights in the winter and very hot days in the summer. Beware of August winds.
